Tom Gillis
PGA Golf Professional
Tom Gillis has been involved in the game of golf since he was 5 years old. He comes from a North Shore family with its own impressive list of Golf professionals and enthusiasts.
Along with a 10-year stint as Teaching Professional at prestigious Spring Valley Country Club in Sharon, MA, Tom has taught the game of golf at numerous Country Clubs throughout southern Florida since 1986. As a member of the PGA, Tom has played in hundreds of professional golf tournaments, and, in 2001 set
the course record at Spring Valley with a 66 that eclipsed Arnold Palmer’s record of 68 that stood there for more than twenty years.
Tom tailors his teaching methods around the student’s capabilities and experience, focusing not only on basic swing fundamentals and technique, but also on the importance of course management through proper decision making and thought processes.
Lesson Appointment Policy
Cancellations must be recieved at least 24 hours in advance.
No shows and same day cancellations will be charged.
All lessons administered rain or shine and series must be completed by October 31st of same calendar year.
Method of payment by cash, or check payable to Tom Gillis.
Single lessons and series payable before services are administered.
All lessons include Video Analysis.

Little Birdie Golf Program:
Sample Curriculum:
The Little Birdie Program provides an introduction to the game of golf. Children will learn the basic fundamentals of the swing, grip, safety, etiquette, rules, chipping, putting, and on course play. The Little Birdie program is for children ages 4 - 8; each session consists of four (4) half-hour (1/2 hr.) classes. Maximum 6 : 1 Student to teacher ratio.
